History

1970's

Founder Taiji SHAKUDA, along with his wife Shizuko and a few craftsmen started OEM brush manufacturing.



1981

Mr. Taiji SHAKUDA established “Mizuho Brush Co., Ltd.”
In Dec., 1981 Taiji SHAKUDA designated as initial CEO.



1997

1 storey's brush factory was completed. Several warehouses were connected and expanded.



2003

Mizuho Brush Co., Ltd. established their selling division and founded a new affiliate company “Green Factory Inc.”



2004

Green Factory Inc. released 1st corporate brand “Hanacosme” on line. Hanacosme has become a very popular on-line product at department stores in Japan.
Mizuho Brush joined “Maison et objet exhibition in Paris” as a member of “Japan Brand” committee of Kumano town.



2005

Annual turnover grows to 235 mil. J Yen (as of June 2005).
Number of employees increase to 26.



2006

Second floor of factory was completed.
Annual turnover grows to 290 mil. J Yen (as of June 2006). Number of employee increases to 28.



2007

Mizuho Brush is certified as METI’ s designated project till 2012. Mizuho joins exhibitions in the U.S. (Anaheim, New York).
*METI : Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.
Hanacosme acquires contract with J-shoppers as principal cosmetic brush brand of Japan.



2008

Mizuho Brush executed brand new CI design. And also, the brand new corporate brand “Mizuho Brush” was released on line.
New corporate brand “Mizuho Brush” was designated as principal cosmetic brush brand at Japanese concept shop “Rin” in Omotesando, Tokyo.
